People Haiku

People are strange things.

Cursing and being rude like

They haven’t evolved.

Considering Cats

Rulings decided by a purr;

Declarations of war: a meow;

Cursing your family, a simple mew;

I wonder when we will admit

Cat’s actual spot as apex predator.

America’s Government

For those of you that don’t quite understand it:

Here it is in simple words:

We don’t trust our country, our leaders, each other enough, or see it fit

To have one ruling lord.

Mother Nature

Lions killing their young,

Polar bears destroying each other,

Spiders murdering their mates.

Ah, yes, Mother Nature at her finest.

The Pain of Books

When a character is

Hurting in heart or soul or mind,

Stabbed or betrayed or alone,

I feel my own body throbbing,

As if I was experiencing the fictional pain.

Love

Love does not make the world go round,

(The Sun’s gravity does)

It doesn’t come from our heart,

(Blood does)

But instead it’s caused by our brains:

It’s nothing more than a fleeting feeling for the boy across the street.
